Oh, we're terribly sorry that your innocent sovereign citizens were murdered by our imperial army. They were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, mind you. We do hope that you don't take it too badly.

American citizens sent to their deaths by the U.S. government in the improperly named "war on terror": 5,290*

Two hundred eighty to one. For every innocent person killed on 9/11 by Saudi Arabian, Yemeni and Egyptian terrorists the United State government has murdered 278 innocent foreign sovereigns and sent two (2) additional U.S. citizens to their deaths.

Great job. Keep up the good work. Go U.S.A.

To me, it does not strain credulity to see the “rich capitalists” opting for the pseudo-security of the nanny state. Certainly there are many who still prefer to rise or fall on the merits of their ideas and of their hard work, but the vast majority of American business leaders are no longer “entrepreneurs,” but rather “bureaucrats” who are skilled enough and politically savvy enough to have risen through the ranks of management at large companies and now find themselves “leading” perhaps hundreds of thousands of employees and grossing upwards of a hundred billion US dollars in a year.

The tea party movement is dead. The one I was familiar with anyway. Judson Phillips held it down and Sarah Palin drove a stake right through its heart live last night on C-Span in front of an unsuspecting audience.

Sarah Palin didn’t give a tea party speech last night. She gave a partisan Republican address. It was a purely political speech designed to position her for a presidential run in 2012 or 2016. Period. She wasn’t there to celebrate the organic nature of a movement she had nothing to do with creating. She was there to co-opt the name and claim the brand as hers. And she did.

My Master Is a Good Man

I am a grateful slave.
My master is a good man.
He gives me food, shelter, work and other things.
All he requires in return is that I obey him.
I am told he has the power to control my life.
I look up to him, and wish that I were so powerful.
My master must understand the world better than I,

Put me on another list. I am dangerous for so many reasons, not the least of which is my penchant for holding the founders in high honour, something that NONE of Lincoln's regime has ever done.

My country has been under imperial military occupation for 144½ years. All of the self-gratifying colonialism and nation-building exercises that the empire undertakes on foreign soil and nothing for its own conscripts who wish only to be free to live their lives.

2010 is here. One election cycle is not going to overturn a century-½ of abrogation and federal intervention. Ten election cycles won't do it.
